San Felasco Hammock Preserve State Park

One of the last large stands of mature mesic hammock in Florida, with genuine elevation change, sinkholes and limestone outcrops under a closed canopy of old hardwoods. It looks and feels far more like southern Appalachia than like Florida, and the mountain bike trail network cut through it is widely rated the best in the state.
