Real Madrid'S Stadium Since 1947, Rebuilt 2019 To 2024 With A Retractable Pitch And Roof, Capacity About 80,000, Home Of The Most Successful Club In European Cup History · Madrid, Madrid

Real Madrid's ground since 1947, and since 2024 a substantially different building. The rebuild wrapped the old bowl in a curved steel and glass skin, put a retractable roof over it and, more unusually, installed a pitch that retracts into storage underneath so the bowl can be used for other events without wrecking the grass. It holds about eighty thousand and it is the most successful club in European football measured the only way that settles arguments, which is European Cups. The tour is the reason most visitors come and it was entirely rebuilt with the stadium: it now runs through the trophy room, the dressing rooms, the tunnel and out pitchside, with the fourteen European Cups arranged to be unmissable. Book it ahead and, more importantly, check the fixture list - tour access is cut back sharply around match days and disappears on them, which is the single commonest wasted booking anybody makes here.

NO OPENING TIME HERE WAS CHECKED, and the opening hours are not the thing to check. The structure: the TOUR runs daily on timed slots with last admission well before closing, BUT IT IS CUT BACK AROUND FIXTURES AND DOES NOT RUN ON MATCH DAYS, and sections close for other events in the bowl. The football season runs August to late May with midweek European ties from September. The club shop keeps retail hours. CONFIRM THE FIXTURE LIST, not the calendar.
