Sauder Village
Open Air Museum · Archbold, Ohio
Ohio's largest living-history destination, in the flat farm country of the northwest corner, founded by a furniture manufacturer who wanted the story of how this land was made farmable told before the people who knew it died. That story is the Great Black Swamp — a forested wetland the size of Connecticut that made northwest Ohio the last part of the state to be settled.
