Sebastian Inlet State Park

Florida State Park · Melbourne Beach, Florida

The best-known surf break in Florida and one of the busiest fishing spots on the Atlantic coast, where a jetty-lined inlet cuts through the barrier island between the ocean and the Indian River Lagoon. The wave off the north jetty — First Peak — produced a generation of world champion surfers, and the park runs three miles of beach either side of it.

9700 South A1A, Melbourne Beach, Florida, 32951, United States

Open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year for the beach and jetties. Museums and concession keep their own daytime hours.
