Sesame Place

Theme Park · Langhorne, Pennsylvania

The only theme park in the United States built entirely around Sesame Street, opened at Langhorne in 1980 and aimed squarely at children under about eight. Rides, a water park and character meetings are all scaled to that audience, which makes it a poor day out for anyone without a small child and an unusually good one for anyone with. In 2018 it became the first theme park anywhere in the world to be designated a Certified Autism Center, with quiet rooms, low-sensory areas and a published sensory guide rating every attraction.

100 Sesame Road, Langhorne, Pennsylvania, 19047, United States

Seasonal. Main season roughly May to early September, with weekend operation in spring and autumn and a Christmas event on selected dates in late November and December with the water park closed. Closed for much of the winter, and it does not open every day within its season — check the operating calendar for your specific date.
