Six Flags Great Adventure and Wild Safari
Theme Park · Jackson, New Jersey
Jackson Township, halfway between New York and Philadelphia, and BY LAND AREA THE LARGEST THEME PARK IN THE WORLD — a little over five hundred acres of rides attached to a three-hundred-and-fifty-acre drive-through safari holding about twelve hundred animals, which is the largest outside Africa. It has been a coaster park of record for decades: Kingda Ka stood as the tallest roller coaster on earth from 2005 until it closed in 2024, and Nitro, El Toro and Batman remain among the most highly rated rides in the United States. It is a regional day out at national scale.
