Six Flags New England
Theme Park · Agawam, Massachusetts
The largest theme park in New England, on the Connecticut River at Agawam, on ground that has been used for public amusement since the 1870s — it was Riverside Park for most of the twentieth century before Six Flags took it over in 2000. Its reason to exist for anyone outside the region is Superman: The Ride, a hypercoaster that has been voted the best steel roller coaster in the world more often than any other machine in the country. A water park is included with admission.
