The official visitor center of NASA's Johnson Space Center — Mission Control for every crewed American spaceflight since Gemini — and the only public door into the working campus. A 250,000-square-foot Smithsonian-affiliate museum with more than 400 spaceflight artifacts, a shuttle mounted on its actual 747 carrier aircraft, and a restored Saturn V moon rocket reached by tram across the live NASA site.
