Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens

Manor · Akron, Ohio

A sixty-five room Tudor Revival house on seventy acres in Akron, built between 1912 and 1915 for F. A. Seiberling, who founded Goodyear. It is one of the largest historic homes in America, it stayed in the family until they gave it away rather than let it be demolished, and its English garden is one of very few surviving designs by Ellen Biddle Shipman.

714 North Portage Path, Akron, Ohio, 44303, United States

SEASONAL — generally open April to December, closing for much of the winter apart from the Deck the Hall Christmas programme, which requires advance timed tickets and sells out.
