Sugarloaf Mountain

A granite knob north of Marquette with a stairway and boardwalk to the top, giving the best Lake Superior view in the Upper Peninsula for the least effort of anywhere on that coast. The climb is about a mile and mostly steps, and the summit opens onto the lake, Presque Isle and the whole Huron Mountain country behind.
