Two and a half miles of continuous waterfront path along the Hillsborough River through downtown Tampa, completed in stages over three decades and finally joined up in 2016. It links almost everything worth reaching in the city — the aquarium, the history centre, the art museum, three parks and a converted 1910 warehouse full of food stalls — and walking it is free.
