Target Field

Stadium · Minneapolis, Minnesota

The Minnesota Twins' ballpark, opened in 2010 on about eight acres wedged between a motorway, a rail corridor and downtown Minneapolis — one of the smallest footprints in Major League Baseball, which is exactly why it works. It returned outdoor baseball to Minnesota after twenty-eight seasons under the Metrodome roof, is faced in Minnesota limestone quarried in the state, and is generally reckoned among the better modern parks in the country. The Minnie and Paul sign in centre field lights up and shakes hands after a home run.

353 North 5th Street, Minneapolis, Minnesota, 55403, United States
