TCL Chinese Theatre

Historic Site · Los Angeles, California

The 1927 movie palace on Hollywood Boulevard that Sid Grauman built in an invented Chinese idiom, and the reason people come to that stretch of pavement at all. Around two hundred sets of handprints and footprints are pressed into the forecourt concrete, going back to 1927, and the forecourt is free to walk into at any hour.

6925 Hollywood Boulevard, Los Angeles, California, 90028, United States

Forecourt open at all hours and free. Cinema and tours keep daily hours.
