Texas State Aquarium

The official state aquarium of Texas, on Corpus Christi Bay, built around the marine life of the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean rather than a generic world tour. Its Caribbean Journey wing added a large indoor complex, and it runs a working wildlife rescue programme whose rehabilitated sea turtles, raptors and dolphins are part of the exhibit.
