Thalia Hall
Music Venue · Chicago, Illinois
A Bohemian community hall built in Pilsen in 1892 by a Czech businessman who modelled it on the Old Town Opera House in Prague, and used it as a theatre, a meeting hall and a set of shopfronts at once. It sat largely derelict for decades and was restored in 2013 into a 800-capacity music venue that has kept the balconies, the plasterwork and the proscenium.
