The Apple Barn Cider Mill and General Store

Orchard · Sevierville, Tennessee

A working apple orchard in the valley outside Sevierville that turned its 1910 barn into a general store in 1981 and has since grown into a small village of buildings — the cider mill, a creamery, a candy factory, a winery and two restaurants — while the orchard behind it is still an orchard. It is free to walk into, it is on the road everyone takes to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, and the apple fritters and the cider are the reason locals stop as well as visitors.
