The Breakers Palm Beach

Lodging · Palm Beach, Florida

Henry Flagler's oceanfront hotel, first opened in 1896, burned down twice and rebuilt in 1926 as an Italian Renaissance palace modelled on the Villa Medici — twin belvedere towers, painted ceilings by imported Italian craftsmen, and a lobby that still stops people at the door. It is one of the last great American resort hotels still owned by the family that built it.

1 South County Road, Palm Beach, Florida, 33480, United States
