The Children's Museum of Indianapolis
Childrens Museum · Indianapolis, Indiana
The largest children's museum in the world, occupying five floors on North Meridian Street and holding collections serious enough that calling it a children's museum undersells it — real dinosaur fossils, a genuine Chihuly glass tower running the height of the atrium, and the actual Reuben Wells locomotive of 1868. The Dinosphere gallery contains one of the largest displays of juvenile dinosaur fossils anywhere. The Riley Children's Health Sports Legends Experience adds a seven-and-a-half-acre outdoor sports campus that operates seasonally.
