The club on Sunset Boulevard where a very large share of American stand-up was worked out — Pryor, Leno, Letterman, Robin Williams, Kinison, Chappelle and most of the rest passed through its three rooms. It opened in 1972 in what had been Ciro's nightclub, and the names of the comics are painted on the black wall outside.
