The Omni Homestead Resort
Spa Town · Hot Springs, Virginia
An inn has stood at Hot Springs since 1766, drawing people to the warm mineral water coming out of the Allegheny Mountains, and the present red-brick resort with its clock tower is a National Historic Landmark. Twenty-two presidents have stayed. The first tee of its Old Course is generally held to be the oldest in continuous use in the United States, and the springs that started the whole thing are still running five miles up the road.
7696 Sam Snead Highway, Hot Springs, Virginia, 24445, United States
Open year round. Golf, skiing and the outdoor waterpark are seasonal. Afternoon tea in the Great Hall is served daily and is open to non-residents. The Jefferson Pools at Warm Springs are a separate site and have been closed for restoration.
