A museum of design and propaganda from 1885 to 1945, in a 1927 storage warehouse on Washington Avenue in Miami Beach — which is fitting, because the collection began as one man's hoard and the building is where he kept it. It is the only major museum in the country built around the argument that design is politics, and it is far stranger and better than its profile suggests.
