Toledo Museum of Art

Art Museum · Toledo, Ohio

A free encyclopedic art museum founded in 1901 by a glass manufacturer, which is why its glass collection is among the finest anywhere and why it built the Glass Pavilion — an entirely glass-walled building by the Japanese practice SANAA that is internationally significant architecture in its own right. General admission has never been charged.

2445 Monroe Street, Toledo, Ohio, 43620, United States

CLOSED MONDAYS. Otherwise open Tuesday to Sunday with later hours on some evenings. FREE general admission. Glassblowing demonstrations run to a posted daily schedule.
