Tomoka State Park

Florida State Park · Ormond Beach, Florida

A peninsula between the Tomoka and Halifax rivers on the site of the Timucuan village of Nocoroco, wooded in oak hammock and used as a canoe and manatee-watching park for the Daytona area. A large and deliberately strange sculpture of Chief Tomokie stands near the entrance, and the river paddling is the reason most people come.

2099 North Beach Street, Ormond Beach, Florida, 32174, United States

Open 8:00 a.m. until sundown, 365 days a year. The museum keeps shorter hours.
