Transamerica Pyramid

Skyscraper · San Francisco, California

The 853-foot spire that has defined the San Francisco skyline since 1972, and which the city loathed when it was built — critics called it an affront and campaigned to stop it. It is now so completely the symbol of San Francisco that the company that built it kept the shape as its logo long after selling the building.

600 Montgomery Street, San Francisco, California, 94111, United States

Redwood Park at the base is free and public. Check current observation deck access.
