Travertine Hot Springs

A ridge of orange travertine rock outside Bridgeport with hot mineral water running along the top of it into a series of soaking pools, looking straight out at the Sierra crest. It is on Bureau of Land Management land, it is entirely free, there is nothing there but the rock and the water, and it is one of the best things on Highway 395.
