Truist Park and The Battery Atlanta
Stadium · Atlanta, Georgia
The Atlanta Braves' ballpark, opened in 2017 in Cumberland — which is in Cobb County, outside the city of Atlanta, and that fact explains most of what follows. It was built with a mixed-use district wrapped around it rather than a car park: The Battery Atlanta holds restaurants, bars, shops, a hotel, a concert hall and apartments, and it is open every day of the year rather than eighty-one of them. Half of Major League Baseball has since tried to copy the model. The Braves won the World Series here in 2021.

Braves home games run from late March to September. The Battery Atlanta around the ballpark is free, open year round and needs no ticket. Guided ballpark tours run on most non-game days, booked in advance, and thin out in the off-season. The Coca-Cola Roxy runs its own concert calendar. There is no rail link — allow substantially more travel time than the distance suggests on a game day.
