Tumalo Falls

Waterfall · Bend, Oregon

A ninety-seven-foot waterfall on Tumalo Creek in the Deschutes National Forest twelve miles west of Bend, dropping in a single plunge into a forested canyon with a viewing platform a hundred yards from the car park. More falls run upstream along the creek and its tributary, and the trail continues past several of them. The surrounding forest burned in the Bridge Creek fire of 1979 and the regrowth is visible in the young lodgepole either side of the water.
