Twin Lakes State Park

A small park on Lake Roland in the interior Keweenaw, which by local reckoning is the warmest inland lake in the Upper Peninsula — a claim that means more than it sounds when the alternative is Lake Superior. It is the swimming stop on the drive up the peninsula, and the campground is a base for the Ottawa National Forest falls.
