Warren Woods State Park
Michigan State Park · Three Oaks, Michigan
Three hundred acres of beech-maple forest in the far south-west corner of the state that was never logged — one of the last uncut stands of its kind anywhere in the Lower Peninsula, and a National Natural Landmark. The canopy closes overhead completely, the trees run to well over a hundred feet, and the Galien River winds through the middle of it.
Elm Valley Road, Three Oaks, Michigan, 49128, United States
Open year-round, dawn to dusk.
