Wild River Country

Arkansas'S Largest Water Park, Opened 1984 In North Little Rock, Operating As A Summer Only Seasonal Park. · North Little Rock, Arkansas

Wild River Country is the biggest water park in Arkansas and it has been running since 1984 on the edge of North Little Rock, a few minutes off the interstate. It is the standard American water park proposition - a wave pool, a lazy river, a cluster of speed and tube slides, and a children's area with shallow water and small slides - and in a state where July regularly sits above ninety-five degrees with matching humidity, that proposition needs no further justification. It is strictly summer-only, closed for roughly three-quarters of the year, and that is the single thing to check before driving to it.
