Six hundred acres on the edge of Wisconsin Dells holding eight separate waterparks — four indoors and open all year, four outdoors and seasonal — across more than half a million square feet, which is what the claim of America's largest indoor-outdoor waterpark resort rests on. The Wild WaterDome carries what the resort bills as the largest indoor wave pool in the country under a see-through roof. It is a self-contained resort rather than a gate you drive to: waterpark access comes with the room for every registered guest, and day passes to the public are deliberately limited.

The four INDOOR waterparks run year-round; the four outdoor waterparks are seasonal, roughly Memorial Day to Labor Day. Waterpark access is included with every room for registered guests, valid from registration at noon on arrival through closing on departure day. Public day passes are limited, released on a roughly 90-day rolling window, and unavailable on peak dates. Individual parks close for renovation — check what is open for your date.
