Wildlife Safari

Safari Park · Winston, Oregon

A 600-acre drive-through safari park at Winston in the Umpqua Valley, opened in 1972, where visitors drive their own vehicles through open pastures holding hoofed animals and, in a separately fenced section, big cats and bears. It is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums and has an internationally significant cheetah breeding programme - over two hundred cubs born here, which is among the most successful records anywhere outside Africa.
