Wisconsin Cranberry Discovery Center

Working Farm · Warrens, Wisconsin

A small museum on the main street of Warrens, in the middle of the marsh country that makes Wisconsin the largest cranberry-producing region in the world — the state grows more than half the United States crop, and the United States grows most of the planet's. It explains how a cranberry marsh actually works, which is not what most visitors assume: the beds are dry for most of the year and are flooded only to float the fruit off at harvest. There is a theatre, a mock marsh, and an ice cream parlour that puts cranberry in everything.

204 Main Street, Warrens, Wisconsin, 54666, United States

Generally open daily in the main season, roughly 10:00 to 16:00 or 17:00, with reduced days and hours outside the summer and autumn — verify before travelling, as this is a small operation. Autumn marsh tours are run by local growers, booked separately, and are available only in the harvest window from late September.
