World of Coca-Cola

Specialty Museum · Atlanta, Georgia

The company museum of the most widely distributed consumer product on earth, in a purpose-built hall next to the Georgia Aquarium in downtown Atlanta, where Coca-Cola was invented by a pharmacist in 1886 and where the company has been headquartered ever since. The draw is not really the archive: it is the tasting room, where around a hundred drinks the company sells in other countries are on free pour, and the vault that theatrically houses the secret formula. It is a very well-made piece of corporate storytelling and it does not pretend otherwise.
