Wynwood Walls

Neon District · Miami, Florida

An outdoor museum of large-scale street art created in 2009, when the developer Tony Goldman looked at the blank warehouse walls of a derelict Miami garment district and decided they were canvases. The enclosed Walls are the ticketed core, but the murals spread across dozens of surrounding blocks for free, and the neighbourhood around them has become the centre of Miami's art scene.

2516 Northwest 2nd Avenue, Miami, Florida, 33127, United States

The enclosed Wynwood Walls keep daytime hours with a later close at weekends. The surrounding street murals are public and visible at any time.
